• What is the Reception opening hours?
    Reception is open from early morning until late afternoon.
  • In case of late arrival:
    If you arrive after the Reception closes, you will be sent an email with instructions for access to the resort and contacts..
  • How far is Cimo da Vinha to the Douro River and the Paiva Walkways?
    The Douro river beaches, in Castelo de Paiva, Castelo beach and Choupal beaches are 12 and 17 km away, respectively. The Paiva Walkways (Espiunca entrance) are 7 km away.
  • Is it allowed to light fire on the premises?
    It is absolutely forbidden to light fire, in any form, throughout the establishment and outside, under the penalty of expulsion.
  • How far is Cimo da Vinha from services such as banks, authorities, pharmacies or supermarkets?
    We are located in the municipality of Castelo de Paiva, near the border with the municipality of Arouca. We are 9 km away from the center of both villages.
  • Where is the nearest airport?
    The nearest airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro), located in the OPorto area, is 68 km away. We offer a transfer service.
  • Is access to the pool and breakfast included in the price?
    Yes. The pool is for the exclusive use of our guests and everyone is entitled to breakfast. Children must always be accompanied by their parents or by an adult who is responsible for their surveillance, safety and behavior.
  • Are there vegetarian options?
    Yes. Whether for breakfast or in our Gastrobar we have a variety of options, including vegetarian dishes.
  • Is parking free?
    Yes. All guests have free access to the private car park (without coverage and limited to capacity). The car park area has a closed video surveillance circuit. We are not responsible for objects inside the vehicle or for possible damage, in the car.
  • Is there a bar, meal and mini-market service?
    Yes. We have a Gastrobar as well as a mini-market with essential goods and regional delicacies. After closing these services, there is an outside vending service available 24 hours a day.
  • Do you host events or conferences?
    No. The use is exclusive and designed for the comfort and tranquility of our guests, as such, we do not provide our facilities for holding any type of events.
  • What other services do you offer?
    We have laundry service, airport transfer and access to relaxation and adventure activities inside and outside the resort.
  • What are the Check In and Check Out times?
    Check In, for all accommodations, is done from 3:30 pm and Check Out is at 11 am. If you are interested you can ask if there is a possibility for a late Check Out.
  • How changing rooms and WC work for the Glamping Tents?
    The batthrooms are right next to the space reserved for the Glamping Tents and are open 24 hours a day..
  • Are the baths hot water?
    Yes. The Suites and Granary have a private bathroom with all amenities. Guests at Glamping Tents have a 24-hour access to a bathroom with all sanitary services and hot water showers.
  • Are pets accepted?
    No. Due to the fact that we cannot guarantee 100% the safety and permanence of the animals in the entire enclosure, as well as controlling their interaction with other guests, access to animals is not allowed. Please contact us for exceptional situations, such as guide dogs.
  • Is there wi-fi?
    Yes. The Suites and Granary have wi-fi coverage as well as the indoor common areas and the outdoor area of the terrace.
  • Do the accommodations have air conditioning?
    The Suites and the Granary have air conditioning. The Glamping Tents have a heater that can be turned on.
  • What amenities are included in the Glamping Tents?
    The Glamping Tents have access to an electrical connection point for the use of lamps, chargers and heater. They also have an outlet for ventilation.
  • Is smoking allowed on the premises?
    It is forbidden to smoke inside all accommodations – including in the Glamping Tents – and there is an outdoor area for smokers, duly signposted. Suites and Granary have smoke detectors.
  • Are the facilities prepared for people with reduced mobility?
    Yes. In addition to the facilities having the necessary equipment, also send us an email with the Reservation Number and we will make all the necessary preparations.
  • Are towels and bed linen provided? Is there a cleaning service?
    Yes, all accommodations include towels, bed linen and bathrobe and are cleaned every day.
  • Do the accommodations have TV?
    The Granary and Suites have a 43”. Glamping tents do not have a TV.
  • Is the access to the pool and Gastrobar exclusive for guests?
    Yes.
  • Guests and visits to the resort?
    Each accommodation (of any type) accommodates two people only. It is possible to add an extra child’s bed in the Suites. Any visit by someone other than the guest must be authorized at the reception which will also collect the guest’s data. Guests/ visitors may under no circumstances stay overnight.
  • Are payments for booking on the site secure?
    Yes. Payments at our Check Out are encrypted and processed by Paypal and Stripe.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    For cancellations use our email or phone. For reservations on our website, there is a single refundable rate with the following cancellation conditions:

    a) it is possible to cancel the reservation with a full refund up to 7 days before Check In;

    b) it is possible to cancel the reservation from 6 to 1 day before Check In with 1) a partial refund of 80% of the amount paid or 2) 100% of the amount paid as a credit (coupon) on another future reservation;

    c) In case the guest does not show up for Check In (no show), no refund will be processed;

  • Can I change the reservation date?
    The customer can change the booking date, free of charge, up to 7 days before Check In and limited to availability.
  • Are prices in the site final?
    Yes, all prices displayed in the site already include taxes.
